Carlos Mata

1949, Palma de Mallorca, Spain – 2008, Barcelona, Spain

The subtle and special sensibility of this sculptor born on the Mediterranean coast establishes an incredible combination of grace, style and elegance in his work. Carlos Mata received classical training in Barcelona and Paris (École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts). Carlos Mata’s sculptures are imbued with memories of his childhood, with the warmth and richness of Mediterranean culture, behind the apparent simplicity of the forms there are thousands of hours of work and study.
Carlos Mata’s horses and bulls seem playful but retain the pride and characteristic features of each animal without the need for bulk. Its shapes represent the collective memory of ancient cultures, linked to modern reality. Carlos Mata was an internationally renowned artist, his work is part of public and private collections in Europe, South America, the United States, etc.

Hermann Nitsch

1938, Vienna, Austria - 2022, Austria

In Hermann Nitsch’s work, painting is understood as dramaturgy.  The whole development of Hermann Nitsch, unanimously considered as one of the most significant European artists, unfolds around this concept. A witness of a radical re-thinking of the artistic gesture that takes shape in that singular form of “total work of art”.  For him theatre, stage, music and architecture are alchemically essential to each other.
His artistic research has always been focused on his effort to supplant the canvas as a privileged support.

Patrizia Zoller

As a freelance artist, I dedicate myself to abstract painting and experiment with different materials, colours and techniques to create modern, large-scale works that transport the viewer into their own world. My works are often inspired by nature and are created using a mixed technique of collage, colour layering and palette knife work. In doing so, I lay layers on top of each other to create depth and breadth and a balance between closeness and distance.

For me, the creative process is a dialogue with myself in which I capture my inner tension and personal message. Colours play a central role in my art as they convey emotions and allow viewers to develop their own dreams and interpretations.

My paintings are characterised by different states that merge together, and they are intended to facilitate positive feelings and journeys of discovery. It is important to me to give my works depth that appeals and triggers something in the viewer. When I manage to create harmony and emotion in my paintings, I feel gratitude and see this as an incentive to continuously develop and refine my art.
