Gerald Moroder

Of Seekers and the Balance of Life: Gerald Moroder's archaic figures seem to have found the balance of life while never ceasing to search for it. Using a self-created combination of materials, including mountain rock and soils gathered from various regions, Moroder crafts timeless sculptures that lead us back to our roots.

In his wall objects, Moroder places miniature representations of his human figures within minimalist, architecturally inspired environments, creating a dialogue between sculpture and space that invites contemplation and reflection.

Jörg Schemmann

Landscape Paintings: Through the deliberate use of light and shadow, Jörg Schemmann's landscape paintings create a unique sense of depth and spatial effect. In his large-scale depictions of pine forests and fruit trees, the horizon is often absent, evoking a weightless, almost magical atmosphere.

From a distance, Schemmann's works resemble photographs, yet upon closer inspection, they reveal painterly abstraction that draws the viewer into the stillness and expansiveness of his visual world. His works are featured in numerous public and private collections.

Matthias Kostner

Born in 1982 in St. Ulrich in the Val Gardena region, Matthias Kostner comes from a family of artists with a long-standing tradition. He completed his training at the Vocational School for Sculpture in St. Ulrich. Since 2009, he has been working as an independent sculptor in his own studio and is a regular participant in the "UNIKA" sculpture fair. His works have been exhibited internationally, including at the Ravagnan Gallery in Venice and the Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum in Taiwan.

In his sculptures, Matthias Kostner blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary expression. His wooden figures, depicting everyday scenes and movements, combine the rich history of Val Gardena's woodcarving tradition with modern design language. These sculptures capture life in action and invite viewers to rediscover the beauty of the everyday.
